Leave a Gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will to the Leighton Library Trust

Leaving a gift in your will can help us to protect Dunblane’s historic Leighton Library for future generations to enjoy. We are indebted to the generosity of those who have gone before us in helping us to keep on caring for and protecting the Leighton Library building and its collection of books. Continuing that work long into the future will depend on the generosity and foresight of those who make the kind and thoughtful decision to include a gift to the Leighton Library Trust in their Will.

How to leave a gift in your Will

We would be very grateful indeed if you would consider including a gift in your Will to the Leighton Library Trust. Thank you for considering leaving a gift to the Leighton Library Trust in your Will.

All gifts are gratefully received, and an unrestricted legacy enables us to help support the Leighton Library into the future.

If you are making a Will for the first time, or updating an existing will, we strongly recommend consulting a solicitor. There are potential tax benefits in making a charitable gift in your will and your solicitor can advise. Having an up-to-date Will is the best way to ensure your wishes will be carried out properly after you die. We always recommend that you speak to a solicitor or legal advisor when preparing your Will.

Your bequest in your will or in a codicil (an attached amendment) should be left to:

Leighton Library Trust (Scottish Charity No. SC003010), The Cross, Dunblane, Perthshire FK15 0AQ
