The Leighton Library has a 1603 edition of “De arcanis catholicae veritatis” which is a dialogue between Johann Reuchlin (German humanist and Hebrew scholar who died #OnThisDay 30 June 1522), the Dominican inquisitor Jacobus van Hoogstraten, and Pietro Galatino in defence of Reuchlin in the controversy over the confiscation of Jewish books
