Dunblane’s historic Leighton Library invites you to a free event celebrating the launch of the Leighton Library Digital Guide, created in partnership with Bloomberg Connects - a free, accessible way to explore the library’s remarkable history from your phone.

Join us for this special launch event where you can: 

  • Discover stories of Robert Leighton and the turbulent times in which he lived
  • Explore the historic collection with audio commentary and rich images 
  • Try out the guide’s multilingual and accessibility features
  • Learn how to use the QR‑enabled tour
  • Step inside Scotland’s oldest purpose‑built library, take a mini‑tour using the brand‑new digital guide and experience the library in a whole new way – specially open for this event in advance of opening for the 2026 season on 1 April.
