The Leighton Library has a 1810 first edition of epic narrative poem "The Lady of the Lake" (which helped make the Trossachs a top tourist destination) by the celebrated Scottish historical novelist, playwright and poet Sir Walter Scott who was born #OnThisDay 15 August 1771.
