#OnThisDay 10 February 1576 Wilhelm Xylander, German classical scholar and humanist, died. The Leighton Library has a 1643 edition of his "Marci Antonini imperatoris De seipso et ad seipsum libri XII" - the meditations of Marcus Aurelius (Emperor of Rome, 121-180).
