The Leighton Library has several of books (including a 1710 edition of a treatise on the philosophical works of Cicero "Ciceronis De officiis libri tres") by German classical scholar and critic Johann Georg Graevius, who was born #OnThisDay 29 January 1632. He enjoyed a very high reputation as a teacher at the University of Utrecht, drawing pupils (of high rank including royalty) from various parts of the world.
