The Leighton Library has a 1544 edition of "Euaggelikes proparaskeues biblia" edited by French printer and classical scholar Robert Estienne who died #OnThisDay 7 September 1559. He published many classical texts and Greek and Latin translations of the Bible, and was first to print the New Testament divided into standard numbered verses
