#OnThisDay 19 May 1802, Mr Cornelius Stewart, a borrower at Dunblane's Leighton Library borrowed the library's 1656 First Edition of Abraham Cowley's "Poems : viz.I. Miscellanies. II. The mistress, or, Love verses. III. Pindarique odes. And IV. Davideis, or, A sacred poem of the troubles of David"

The Borrower, Mr Cornelius Stewart, was a surgeon from Dunblane. He'd taken out a subscription to the Leighton Library on 15 December 1800, for the sum of 5 shillings.
